Ahold Delhaize: Creating frictionless digital shopping experiences
Ahold Delhaize is the combination of two historic retail and grocery brands — Ahold and Delhaize Group. With 35 brands and 6,700 stores serving more than 50 million shoppers each week across Europe, the US, and Indonesia, Ahold Delhaize needed to digitally transform the customer experience to maintain market leadership.
This required incubating new products and services and, more importantly, bringing ideas to market quickly to get ahead of the competition. However, rapid innovation was hindered by Ahold Delhaize’s legacy systems and its siloed IT teams. Ahold Delhaize needed a solution to modernize its legacy technologies and bring its disparate IT teams together.
